Just Love Me

“I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.” Kurt Cobain

If there is ever a quote that has rung more true for me, it is this one.
I have struggled, as I am sure, many have, to be 100% me – OUT LOUD and authentic all the time.
Life seems to come along for so many and mold us into something someone else thinks we should or shouldn’t be.
Nothing seems to ring so true that we are who we are created to be and squashing that only creates struggles for us and those closest to us. It’s sad, really, when you stop and think about it. You are created as an individual, unique; somewhere you get the idea that isn’t good enough, so you try to be someone you’re not.
You are good enough, just the way you are! Don’t fight it, sure, improve upon it, but don’t be who you think someone else wants you to be – you will come back fighting (trust me on this).
Be who you are meant to be and LOVE everything about being you and do it fearlessly (talkin’ to myself here).
