5 Things I Learned from "Advice From Some Old People"
A Facebook friend shared an article today and I took the bait. Here is what I learned from reading "Advice From Some Old People:".
1. Don't take anyone else's advice as the gospel. Ask for advise from those you respect, but only take it in as consideration. Take your own advice
2. Take care of yourself! Eat and exercise like you're a diabetic heart patient with a stroke so you will never actually become one. Floss your teeth regularly - dental problems are awful. Joint damage you create today will take revenge later, even if you think you've recovered
3. Appreciate the small things. Be present. Your kids grow up to quickly Life goes by in a flash is you don't take time for the important stuff.
4. Don't take life to seriously. Even in the darkest moments there is something you can laugh at.
5. Dream big! Try something big. Don't wait until you are 65 and look back to say you never did any of the things you dreamed about.
